It is always SUCH a great feeling when you gain a new client with a great referral from another client!
I had just photographed Jennifer’s best friend’s newborn session (Blaise). Jennifer came to Morgan’s Premier Ordering Appointment, and at the time, I didn’t even know she was pregnant! A couple weeks after, Jennifer was emailing me to book both Maternity & Newborn photos of her baby boy that is due in late June.
We went over the style of the session (and went back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth again over maternity gowns!) and finally decided on this Blue Rain Maternity Gown from Sew Trendy Accessories. It fit just like a glove, and had a hint of blue for that sweet baby boy that is coming soon!
We had originally planned out session for Saturday, and I rarely have to use my next day rain dates because typically we have some awesome sunsets after a rain! We unfortunately decided to reschedule, and wouldn’t you know, GORGEOUS SUNSET. It was nothing compared to the next day though. Our session was so gorgeous from start to finish. 
As an extra added surprise, my favorite go-to shooting location had some really pretty trees blooming!
I know that some dads say “it’s not their thing” (to get pictures taken) but they always turn out awesome. I strongly encourage dad being a part of your maternity session! After all, that baby is half your work!

The sunsets over this little lake are just amazing. There are just enough trees to diffuse that sun right over the water. Luckily (again) we picked a better day. It was around 80 Degrees and Jennifer said that the water felt amazing! 
Studio Maternity Sessions are becoming a favorite of mine! I love shooting outside, and then stopping back at the studio to grab a few more shots! They can be completely nude, or just implied nude, or we can even wear a pretty maternity gown inside too! Becoming a mom is such an amazing gift and I want to make every one of you realize how beautiful you are pregnant! You will want to remember these moments much later! I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve heard a mom say, These are GORGEOUS I wish I had taken pictures of myself when I was pregnant. I have like one.” I have to words of advice for you all! DO – IT!
