AMP Photography | Newborn Studio Tour | {Pittsburgh, PA Newborn Photographer}

It has been a long time coming, but I can FINALLY give you a tour of my new photography studio!

I went from working out of a bedroom at my parents house and mainly outdoor, to a small 10×10 room in my husband and I’s new house, and now I finally have this amazing space! My husband is amazing for helping me create this awesome space where parents can come relax while I work my magic with their new baby!

I wanted the studio to feel a bit like home, with small details that reflect my style of work, and have a good display of unique products that I can offer to my clients that also reflect my style! I am still changing little things here and there, but I am finally comfortable opening my studio to my clients whether it be for a newborn or first birthday photo session, or a Premier Ordering Appointment.

I hope you enjoy!

This is my client waiting area. Siblings can watch a movie or color, and new moms and dads can take a nap on the SUPER comfortable couch! The peach chair is one of my new favorite pieces of furniture!

I have a coffee and snack area that most of my clients LOVE ( I mean, who doesn’t love a Keurig and some snacks!) 2015-07-13_0003.jpg2015-07-13_0012.jpg2015-07-13_0004.jpg

Here are my two main shooting areas. I like to keep two natural backdrops up at all times, which is what I use for parent and sibling shots, as well as some of just baby. Then we can change to a beanbag shot, or put up different backgrounds/floors. I have had a few people ask about my lighting in other pictures. The big light is an Alien Bee 400 with an 86″ PLM (DROOL! 🙂 )2015-07-13_0005.jpg

I LOVE props!!! I am super addicted to prop shopping and flea markets! I like creating one of a kind art for clients and that is hard to do if you are always using the same things, so I like to switch it up…A LOT!
This is just SOME of my things. I also have a garage full (my poor husband hates me for that!)2015-07-13_0007.jpg

One of my favorite parts about newborn photography is creating the birth announcements (or graduation announcement for my High School Senior Clients) I wanted a way to display them as art work rather than just in a pile on my desk -so I hung up one of my old windows. It works perfect!2015-07-13_0015.jpg

Here are some of my other small details in the studio! Please let me know what you all think! I can’t wait to have an open house so everyone can come see it in person!

Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with SEO?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some
targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success.
If you know of any please share. Appreciate it!

I am really inspired together with your writing skills and also with the
format for your weblog. Is this a paid subject or did you modify it your self?
Anyway stay up the excellent high quality writing, it’s uncommon to look a nice
weblog like this one nowadays. Blaze AI!ReplyCancel

I’m extremely impressed with your writing talents as neatly as with the layout on your weblog.

Is that this a paid subject matter or did you customize it your
self? Either way keep up the nice high quality writing, it is
uncommon to see a great blog like this one these days.
