If you’ve had a recent newborn session, you’ve most likely met my studio assistant Haley! This is her sweet baby girl Kenley! They’ve been coming to me since Haley’s maternity session. Kenley is 1 already! How did that even happen?!
Haley told me that she wanted a boho teepee smash cake session so I got to work making the perfect teepee and adding some other cute little things! I think it turned out perfect!
It was a tiny bit windy the day of her session, and I didn’t even realize how crazy her hair got in a few shots until I was editing these. This is one of my FAVORITE shots! I love including some pictures that will make mom laugh, some that will make her cry, and some that leave you speechless 😉
I (of course) used a Cora and Violet outfit for Kenley’s smash cake session. It was the perfect final touch to go with her lacy teepee! Oh, and those pudgy little legs! SO CUTE!
It’s pretty safe to say that Kenley LOVED her cake! I like to call this the “Cake Crazies” haha!
After each Smash Cake First Birthday Session I always do a washtub bath to get all of that icing off. Babies love the cool water after a hot summer day, and we usually get some SUPER cute shots of them splashing around to finish off the session!
